    Getting the Job Done

I could hear some people say “It is easy to become a Christian, but it is hard to live as a Christian. It is hard because we tend to submit in the will of our flesh than in the the Holy Spirit. Man is a work in progress. But Jesus transforms us from glory to glory, from faith to faith. Ephesians 1 brings unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

    Ephesians 1:3

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

Jesus gives us God Holy spirit to be our advocate to God the Father (John 14:26) God gives us: His Love by giving His one and only son, (John 3:16) ; His Peace,(John 14:27) His unexplainable Joy.(Nehemiah 8:10) His Mercy and Grace to move in this journey of life in Christ Jesus (Hebrew 4:16) Faithfulness to all His promises.(Deuteronomy 7:9) His Kindness as we been justified by His grace, (Titus 3:4-7) His Goodness that endures forever..(Ps 100:5)

     Ephesians 1:4

4 For God chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.

From the beginning of creation, He made us His own , not only part of a plan but it is decided. Our identity in Him by  breathing life to us, to witness in His Holiness (Gen 1:27; Gen 2:7) and by adoption we become children of God through His Son Jesus Christ.

    Ephesians 1:5

5 He predestined us for adoption to sonship[c] through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us.

Being adopted,we are given a new being. Surname changed, values are molded in the image of the adoptive parents and becomes one of the member family. The family of God includes His children, we then become an extension of Him. Our values are molded in God’s character as we become the brother and sister of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are connected with him and over time we build relationship with him. Everywhere we go people know who we are and expect us to act in such a way that we meet the standards set before us and just because God Holy Spirit dwell inside of Us and His glory shines upon us.( 2 Corinthians 3:18)

    Ephesians 1:8

………. With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

Through His WORD,(2 Timothy 3:16) and He made known to us the mystery of His will through Jesus Christ unifying us in One Faith, (Ephesians 4:5) in one God, (Galatians 3:28), In one Hope, (Ephesians 4:4)and in the body of Christ our Lord.( Romans 12:5). God made known to us the mystery of His will with all wisdom and understanding to His WORD. Through the death and resurrection of our Lords Jesus Christ He brings unity to all things in heaven and earth. Jesus becomes a bridge to us to bring back our broken relationship we had have to God the Father and we only able to know the mystery of His will through the HOLY SCRIPTURE. (2 Timothy 3:16)

Do you think following the will of God is difficult and that reading His word is a mystery and sometimes hard.  I heard an urban legend that people get wonky trying to read too much of The Bible. It’s time to say it’s not true.  As believers we have the assurance that when we read the word, God reveals but for those that are destined not this verse holds true:

    Mark 4:12

"so that, ''they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!''

This verse somehow gives me comfort but with great sadness when people reject what we are trying to say in matters of Christ. It breaks my heart to know that they will not see the very purpose of our creation even though it’s not on me.

    Ephesians 1:11

11 In him we were also chosen,[e] having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation.

I know to be a believer and a vocal Christian, we expose ourselves in a lot of “wokening.”  But are we going to be the greatest woke or run towards the goal? To run when its hard, to proclaim the good news of salvation when people refuse to listen and to forgive even when it hurts. For you and I are created in His image and likeness and that is the job.

    Romans 8:29-30

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. (Romans 5:1) Amen!

    Ephesians 1:13-14

When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

I agree as a Christian its hard because of the expectation of being perfect, of always doing the right thing,” but not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord.” (Zechariah 4:6) Yes! It is hard if you going to depend only by your own understanding, by your own strength, by your own power and ability. Unless you fully depend in the Holy Spirit who dwell inside of you, (1 Corinthians 6:19) Unless  you trust God and fully depend on Him, then there is nothing too hard for you to do, (Jeremiah 32:27) For you can do all things through Christ Jesus whose strengthens you.( Philippians 4:13) and it is not just a job but it is a commitment  to our God  and God made sure we get the job done! For His glory! (Psalm 115:1)
